Cherner Arm Chair in Ebony

The iconic moulded plywood armchair by Norman Cherner, in 1958, is found in design collections worldwide. The Armchair elegantly combines a unique moulded plywood shell of tapering thickness, a solid bentwood arm and a laminated wood base, in classic Ebony finish.

The pieces are manufactured using the original designs and moulds by the Cherner Chair Company, owned by Norman’s sons, Benjamin and Thomas Cherner.  The reissued designs are made with the same attention to detail found in the original hand made classics.
