clifftop getaway kitchen
project
Perched up high on the outskirts of Stoke Fleming this contemporary newbuild enjoys stunning sea views from its dramatic, cliff top location.
Our clients wanted a crisp, contemporary kitchen that wouldn’t detract from the coastal outlook but also an inviting family kitchen that didn’t feel stark.
Platinum kitchen units give a gentle warmth to this light and airy kitchen which also includes a run of storage cabinetry finished in bulthuap’s black-grey structured oak veneer. The bank of dark oak larder cupboards is also home to a secret door that leads in to a guest bedroom.
This home, designed by BBH Architects, cleverly incorporates it’s natural surroundings and one of our favourite details is the full height glass section that showcases a stunning rockface. This view was the inspiration for the choice of worksurface – Trillium by Dekton was chosen because it is a mix of volcanic of grey, brown and black shades which gives an earthy, industrial feel.
