Creative Bathroom Refurbishment

project

We designed this bathroom for clients are who are both design and quality conscious and their brief for this guest bathroom was short, “design a space that has an impact”. Our clients wanted to give visiting friends an interesting environment that they would feel special in and remember.

The striking basin gives an instant ‘wow’ and is fitted to a false wall that we designed to be built out so chromotherapy lighting could be fitted behind to frame the basin and create an atmosphere. We added a mid-height wall to the bath area which created a cosy feel when bathing but also completes a T-shape which screens a shower area and toilet area behind. The wall includes storage recesses that also light up. As the room is quite large we finished the bathing wall with aluminum, multi-toned, elongated mosaics to add interest and depth. The free-standing bath compliments the wall and the bath filler provides a tranquil flow of water.

The project was the winner of the ‘Ultimate Luxury Bathroom Design of the Year 2015’ in the 13th annual Designer Kitchen and Bathroom Awards.

“Working with David at Sapphire Spaces has been the most amazing experience. Not only is he one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of working with, but each of his designs are breathtaking.

David’s evocative creativity at the planning stage of the project left other companies light-years behind”.
