project

Our brief was to create an en-suite that provides a space for relaxation and calm at the end of a busy day.

This is the 2nd bathroom space we designed for this luxury home. Wood-effect porcelain tiles give the look and style of a wooden floor without the maintenance headaches! The radiators used in this design are both functional and visual, as well as providing heat their finish reflects light and distorts shapes to create a feel of rippling water. The radiators have also been backlit to provide a gentle warm glow of light.

To continue the tranquil spa feel of this design, separate shower and toilet zones are hidden behind the large floor-to-ceiling vanity station so they are private and out of sight from the main bathing area.

Other key features of this design include a soft, neutral colour scheme, backlit recesses for ambient lighting and a wall-mounted ‘floating’ vanity to keep an open feel.

“Once again we had the pleasure of seeing our dream Zen bathroom come into fruition through the care and attention of the lovely David! He listened closely to our brief of needing a relaxing spa bathroom to create a haven of peace to escape our busy lives. He oversaw the whole project which was a joy as every detail was considered as he really does care about each and every client.

Several years on, the bathroom is standing the test of time and still makes me smile every day.

We will continue to work with David on future projects as I believe he is the most inspired designer I have ever come across and it comes as no surprise to me when he wins award after award”.
