AntChair

The Ant Chair

Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952, the Ant™ chair was originally designed for the canteen of Novo Nordisk and uses nine layers of pressure moulded veneer to create a deceptively sturdy chair. This sculptural design adds comfort and character to any dinning scheme.

The Series 7 Chair

Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1955, the Series 7™ chair has an instantly recognisable shape and is the most popular chair design in Fritz Hansen’s collection. Clever manufacturing again uses 9 layers of pressure moulded veneer to make this understated chair incredibly strong, flexible, and comfortable.

GrandPrix

The Grand Prix Chair

Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1957, The Grand Prix™ chair (originally known as No. 4130) is an eye-catching, angular design that was first introduced at the Danish Museum of Art & Design during the Designers’ Spring Exhibition in 1957. From the start Jacobsen designed this chair for use in private homes and when presented at the XI Triennale di Milano in 1957 Jacobesn’s design received the Triennale’s top award – the Grand Prix – which gave the chair the name we know today.
